We're small. Here's what that actually means.
DueChat is new — small enough that a real person reads every bug report. We won't show you logos we don't have or customer numbers that don't exist yet. What we can show you: every reminder goes out signed with your name, replies land in your own inbox — not a no-reply address — and payments go straight to your own Stripe or bank account. DueChat takes a small 1.5% fee automatically at the moment of payment, on top of Stripe's own processing fees — but the money itself is never routed through a DueChat-controlled account first. If you're reading a landing page skeptically — you should be — that's exactly why we're not pretending to be bigger than we are.

What makes DueChat different
Reminders go out until you're paid
Send an invoice once. If it goes unpaid, DueChat follows up in your name — you never write another “just checking in” email.
Day 0
Invoice lands with a pay link or your bank details.
7 days past due
First polite reminder, in your name.
14 days past due
Firmer follow-up, same pay link.
30 days past due
Final notice — professional, still yours.
The moment they pay, reminders stop. Day 30 is the last automatic one — still unpaid after that, and it's on you to follow up personally or take it further.

Who owes you

FAQ
FAQ
An invoice app for freelancers and agencies. You send (or import) invoices; DueChat emails automatic reminders in your name until the client pays — then stops. Money goes to your Stripe or bank.
If unpaid past due, DueChat emails reminder 1 at 7 days, reminder 2 at 14, and reminder 3 at 30 — in your name. Payment lands → reminders stop. Day 30 is the last one sent automatically; still unpaid after that, and DueChat stops nudging — that's your cue to follow up personally or escalate outside the app. Change schedule and tone, or pause anytime.
If your client pays through the Stripe link on the invoice, DueChat detects it automatically and stops reminders within moments — no action needed from you. If they pay another way (bank transfer, cash, check), DueChat can't see that on its own: open the invoice and click “Mark as paid,” and reminders stop instantly. Bank-transfer invoices also skip DueChat's 1.5% fee entirely, since the money never touches Stripe.
No. Free gives you 3 invoices a month with no card on file — not a trial that quietly asks for one on day 15. You add a card only when you choose to upgrade to Pro, on your timeline.
Yes. Sync unpaid from Stripe or paste a CSV. Clear what’s still open — money to your account.
No. In Xero or QuickBooks, reminders are a small feature bolted onto a full bookkeeping suite. In DueChat, getting you paid is the whole product — reminders at 7, 14, and 30 days, in your tone, with open and click tracking on Pro. Keep Xero or QuickBooks for your books; DueChat just makes sure the invoice doesn't get forgotten.
Usually the opposite. Every reminder sends from your own email, in your name and your chosen tone — not a red “payment overdue” banner. Nearly a third of overdue invoices never get chased at all, because asking feels awkward, so silence is usually the less professional move. Businesses that automate follow-up are 52% more likely to get paid within two weeks.
